How I see Ukraine going, Russia takes Kiev, and installs a new government there. Europe and America protest. They might sanction individuals in Russia like Putin but they do not want Moscow to shut down the oil and gas deliveries. And Vlad gets to start re-assembling the Soviet Union, Belarus and Georgia next?
