Remington is bankrupt and sold off so I don't know who will pay the settlement. The insurance company?

Can the people who were mowed down by the BLM terrorist sue Ford since he used their vehicle for his murder spree? Of course not, cars don't drive themselves into innocent people.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

''Remington negligently entrusted to civilian consumers an assault-style rifle that is suitable for use only by military and law enforcement personnel and violated the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act through the sale or wrongful marketing of the rifle.''.......THE FINAL FINDING.

Perhaps THIS ruling will give pause to the production of products made for massive maximum damage.

This sets a horrible precedent. In the 20th Century, guns in the hands of governments have killed tens of millions more than civilians. Yet leftist idiots only want governments to be armed. Like Putin's. Or Xi's.

Or it's just another excuse for authoritarian leftists to start the process of taking firearms from law abiding citizens who don't murder people. There's plenty of semi-auto firearms that don't look scary but do the exact same thing.

The money isn't being awarded because Remington made a deadly weapon, they settled because the ads were said to encourage deadly behavior. So should NASCAR be sued because it encourages dangerous driving and lane changing?

You are talking about the shooting. I am talking about the court case. Remington wasn't pulling that trigger. And they aren't making that payout because they shot those teachers and students. The insurance company is handing out that big check because they want the case to end.

The settlement? It is only going to the lawyers and the families who signed onto the lawsuits. If you were a victim and didn't sign onto the lawsuit, you don't get a check.
