HA would like to distract this thread and tallk about hoer Trump Derangement Syndrome, so bo it. However, while she posts innumerable articles from other sources and offers no opinions, here is what is happening in the real world:
:"First Lady Jill Biden Goes To Ukraine, President Heads To Golf Course"
" What our government did to THIS country alone will end up making a lot more people poor and will be responsible for a lot more deaths than the Russia/Ukraine war. The data desn't lie and the evidence is piling up fast."
THIS comment is what i responded to.....the genesis of the "great fubar" is a factual statement...BIDEN WAS NOT POTUS . BLAME is a game that can be played many times, BUT the factual reality can not be altered.
FredHayek wrote: It has been a good thing for the world that there have been no major wars since the 1940's. Almost 80 years of "mostly peace". Looks like this war in Ukraine is going to disrupt the worldwide economy as much as Covid-19. Energy prices skyrocketing as the world weans itself off Russian oil. Farmers are weaning themselves off Russian petrochemical fertilizer. Ukraine and Russia farmers aren't able to get their product to the world market. Expect food riots in Asia, Africa, and the Arab world.
We showed that bully Putin! And the poor of the world will pay the price.
AHEM,20 of the years were vicious Vietnam folly......altho NOT declared a war, what would u define those
years as????
Since I am 3/4 of a century old....I have a vivid visual and AGAIN, how would u define those years? PEACEFUL????

You keep ignoring facts HA..
Who decided to limit oil and gas production?
Who decided to shutdown Keystone?
Who was ok with schools being closed for more than a year?
Who wanted people fired who woud not take the jab?
Who did not deem teachers as essential workers?
Which party wanted to dump another 6 trillion into the economy?
Which state governors forced the most businesses to close?
Which party is ok with millions of illegal border crossers?
Which party thought defunding the police was a good idea?
I'm sure theres a lot more I forgot, but all of those are the opposite of what most Republicans and Trump believe in and all of those hurt our economy in different ways.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
SO--O. we can agree that both POTUS'S provided "powder" to the explosion? DECISIONS have unforeseen ramifications....u gamble u made the correct choice......sometimes it is,sometimes it is not.
I just made you a list of all the things Biden did and is doing that Trump disagrees with, so NO, we don't agree. Ths thread is about the war in Ukraine so I'll end here, but if you ever want to talk about actual policies that work to help an economy, I'd love to have that discussion. The people you vote for are completely clueless and are going to pay a heavy price in November.

Paraphrasing Forrest Gump: " And just like that the U.S. gave the Ukraine another $40 billion for munitions (hope they buy from the U.S .), humanitarian aid, and payment for Ukraine government workers salaries and pensions.
No possible graft, of course.
Joe Manchin, questions Defense Intel Agency (DIA) Director Lt. Gen. Scott Berrier and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Avril Haines about whether Ukraine can actually win the current war with Russia. It’s an interesting exchange because none of the DeceptiCon senators will usually approach the issue.
"Lt General Scott Berrier (DIA) says [00:56], “that is a difficult predication to make. I think where the [DIA assessment] is at is a prolonged stalemate should no factor change on either side. In other words, the Russians continue to do what they’re doing, and we continue to do what we are doing for the Ukranians.”
Please note the last statement. To me that is an outright admission that we are in a proxy war with Russia.
