I think most people change their views on social issues over time, especially when it’s politically necessary. Just look at how long it took Democrats to accept African Americans as equal American citizens.

Why in the world would you think it a good idea to start transitioning a 5yr old who doesn’t even know how to read yet, doesn’t understand the concept of sexual organs and how important they are, and how impossible it would be to undo the damage if he/she was to change their mind like so many other young people and adults are doing?
I don’t think you know anything about this child’s home life so I don’t know how you could be so confident that a 5 year old could possibly be able to know anything other than what most 5 year olds know, which is very little.
