World of Trouble: Conscription on the Table as European Militaries Dwindle

NATO countries are considering reinstating the draft. Well, during the past several years, millions of Muslim men 18-30 yrs., have immigrated to Europe. NATO could draft these men, give them weapons training and weapons, creating the 21st century version of Janissaries.
They would have to be careful that a fifth column is not created.
What could go wrong?

This has happened in America too. Philippines join our Navy, seek employment in the quartermasters, and try to steal equipment and supplies. Latino gang members join the military, get training in combat tactics and weapons training
and then rejoin the gangs after their enlistments are up.

True, Fred. However, there is a difference between illegals joining and those that legally are able to apply. ( It should be noted that a democrat senator, Durbin, has suggested that illegals be allowed to enlist in the U.S. military forces.)
Whereas in Europe they are talking about conscripting the illegal Muslim immigrants into the military. A somewhat comparison can be made to the U.S. draft during Vietnam. Blacks were pulled out of their neighbors and put in the infantry. subsequently they came back to Baltimore (personal experience) and rioted. As happened in other Northern cities.
It is easy to imagine the same happening in European cities.

Illegal aliens used to be able to join the military in exchange for citizenship. The program eventually ended. No idea how successful it was, or did the military cancel the program because they wanted better recruits?

I'm hearing talk about allowing illegals to join our military in order to become citizens. A war doesn't worry me as much as a military that could more easily be convinced to turn on Americans as ordered. How many American soldiers could be convinced to fire on an American citizen? The FBI has a nice big list of possible radical maga extremists... about 75 million and growing.
