Who isn't celebrating her win? It's all over the place. She is super old for a gymnast and very remarkable. And she is hinting she will comeback for the Los Angeles games. Plus she has the human interest story of coming back from "the Yips". Americans love stories about masterful comebacks. Maybe you are reading the wrong media?
NPR had a piece on her this morning, along with Katie Ledecky, another older athlete who also might return in 2028.
