A bit more information on how mail in ballots are handled here in Colorado from KDVR . . .

kdvr.com/news/politics/election/how-does...or-ballot-envelopes/

Skelley with the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder’s Office said 50 to 60% of ballot signatures are verified through the machine, which has a camera inside taking an image of the signatures.

A single pass past a single camera, with a rejection rate by the automated system of between 40% and 50%, which then, at least in Arapahoe County, goes to a single signature judge who views the exact same images as the automated system. If that single judge then agrees with the machine, then, and only then, is the signature examined by two signature judges from different parties against all signatures on file. Mind you, there is no outside, independent, audit for accuracy by either of these processes. All auditing is internal and SecState Griswold has instructed the signature judges to approve signatures which have a 51% or greater chance of being valid and signature judges are certified to perform these duties after a few hours of instruction on how to examine handwriting.

So we start with a rejection rate of around half of the ballots and end up with a rejection rate in the single digits and I'm supposed to have faith that only valid ballots are being counted in the elections here in Colorado. You've got to be kidding me . . .
