Speaking of Beyoncé . . . Jon Stewart had an interesting point . . .
"There's something wrong with me. I find that guy very funny. I mean, bringing him to a rally and having him not do roast jokes? That’d be like bringing Beyoncé to a rally and not…oh," Stewart said while also taking a jab at Harris' debacle of a rally with the star singer in Texas.

I saw the video,as did many, many STUNNED viewers...I do NOT think u want to go there...he may have been a druggie, BUT THE AUTOPSY SHOWED HE WAS CHOKED TO DEATH (BY A BMOC COP...BIG MAN ON CAMPUS....I saw the steely look he gave the person shooting the camera shot,it was a you don't fuck with me GLARE. He was found guilty and sentenced....so-o-o, stop the shit of he was a druggie (and deserved what he got). There is no room for rationalizing a "bad cop"...and THIS cop had a history also.
n a 22 page memorandum, Cahill wrote that two aggravating factors warranted a harsher sentence – that Chauvin “abused his position of trust or authority” and treated Floyd with “particular cruelty.” Chauvin, the judge wrote, treated Floyd “without respect and denied him the dignity owed to all human beings.”
Cahill said the former officer “objectively remained indifferent to Mr. Floyd’s pleas’ even as Mr. Floyd was begging for his life and obviously terrified by the knowledge that he was likely to die.”
“Mr. Chauvin’s prolonged restraint of Mr. Floyd was also much longer and more painful than the typical scenario in a second-degree or third-degree murder or second-degree manslaughter case,” the judge wrote.
You missed the autopsy.... he died from an overdose. The cop also restrained the criminal by using the method he was taught to use by the department. If you don't like that method, go adfter the police department.
If you don't want to die in the street, don't be a shitbag criminal and don't ever resist arrest while you are overdosing.
https:Expert witnesses called by prosecutors during the trial concluded that Floyd did not die of an overdose or because of his drug use.
Independent experts have previously told the AP that underlying medical problems and drug use revealed in the autopsy report don’t change the conclusion that Floyd’s death was a homicide, explaining that these conditions simply made it more likely that he would not fare well under stress.
They have also noted that the fact that no major bruising or damage to the muscles, cartilage or bones in the neck was found — as indicated under the phrase “no life-threatening injuries identified” in the autopsy — does not mean that asphyxia did not occur. Only that there are no signs of it on the
EXCESSIVE FORCE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A MAJOR PROBLEM WITHIN ANY P.D. (i get it, they r out in the streets everyday, expecting to ignore verbal abuse and being spit at...there is only so much that one person can take, BUT U GET MENTAL HELP AND DO BETTER...NOT this cop....I viscerally FELT THIS COPS HATE and his attitude of " I am THE MAN...DON'T EVEN FUCK WITH ME OR I WILL KILL U. HE DESERVES EVERYTHING THAT WAS THROWN AT HIM, BECAUSE HE THOUGHT HE COULD. (THE RULES DID NOT APPLY TO HIM...) IF THIS IS OK BY U, I QUESTION YOUR ETHICS.
in the large scheme of things (macro view),it has EVERYTHING to do with respect, disregard for life, the way u walk thru life, the ways humans species can be inhumane. We can argue over a Trump tirade, but THIS IS NOT PARAMOUNT???? (there is indelible image in my mind of THAT cop's hard eyes glaring at the camera....like " u r next",wanta try me?) enough said.

And each of those descriptors apply to Floyd. He had no respect for the officers, no regard for their lives, and the way he was walking through life could hardly be described as exemplary.
You talk all the time about cosmic justice, karma, yin/yang . . . but for some odd reason you want to exempt Floyd from these forces and apply them only to the officer who had to deal with Floyd on that day. Why is that HA?
