TARIFFS AND TOUGH TIMES...

Government debt

While tariffs would raise some additional revenue for the government, Trump's overall economic platform — including the proposed tax cuts — are expected to widen the federal deficit, adding to the government's borrowing costs.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates that Trump's fiscal policies would add an extra $7.75 trillion in government debt over the next decade.

The prospect of so much additional debt spooked bond investors, sending bond yields sharply higher Wednesday. Mortgage rates, which tend to follow the yield on 10-year Treasuries, are expected to climb as well.

wait and watch AND SEE YOUR WEALTH disappear, unless u r in the billionaire/millions class.....THEY R THRILLED.

Analysts at the Brookings Institution, the American Enterprise Institute and the Niskanen Center project that net migration to the U.S. could be sharply lower — even negative — during a second Trump administration, with unfortunate consequences for the U.S. economy. TRULY, for every action there is a reaction....the ECONOMY IS AT RISK....FORWARD THINKING shows stark scenario.... NOT JMO

Did Brookings predict the Wuhan Flu too?
The world is a lot more chaotic than HA and these thinktanks believe.
Trump is not a dictator, he won't get all the tariffs he wants. And many of these tariff threats might be negotiating techniques.
China, play nice, or we start banning your products outright. I am sure Vietnam and Indonesia can make cheap t-shirts too.

Maybe a mob boss is what we need to replace a weakling that bends over for our enemies, like Iran. If I were you, I wouldn’t stress over what your media says Trump will do, I’d go on with your life and judge him on what he actually does.

Do you think he’s going to try to stay in office forever as a dictator and destroy democracy? Do you think he will do what Biden and Obama did and try to pickup his enemies?

it was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard-working immigrants who make this country go, for health care, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech. It was a terrible night for poor people, for the middle class, for seniors who rely on Social Security, for our allies in Ukraine, for NATO, for the truth and democracy and decency.”

It was a bad night for everyone who voted for him, too. If you were to ask AI for an example of sour grapes, that's what you might expect for a reply . . . lol

A.I. is an extremely POOR example...( I have had personal experience with reports generated by A.I.).......
PHRASING is everything..... sour=unpleasant taste, acrid and grapes = A TYPE OF FRUIT .

Your question should be phrased as "what exemplifies a retort of unhappiness or dissatisfaction?"

that phrase G IN= G OUT is the problem. Just little tip for future use.

20% inflation under Biden/Harris was much more cruel to single moms, the working poor.

I'd just like to know the source that you copied that drivel from, HA. It's helpful to know the source because all sources are biased and bias gets in the way of truth.
