Leftist 'news' networks and in full panic mode right now. They have been bad for decades but went to next level deep state propaganda since Trump became their main focus. Don't quote me, but I think CNN's ratings have dropped more than 30% and MSNBC's have dropped more than 50%. The LA Times is talking about adding more conservative voices now... now that they know their credibility is at the lowest point in it's history.
The question is, are they going to be willing to hurt Democrats with truthful reporting? That truthful reporting would have to include being honest with the people, even if it means pointing out the mental fitness of our president. That seems to be the biggest coverup in journalistic history. I think that coverup actually hurt the Democrats, because they could have gotten rid of Biden much sooner which would give them President Harris for a few years, where she could have learned a little (very little), but anything would have helped her to maybe have a less humiliating loss.
So what do you think... will leftist news sources ever become objective and cover all stories with all perspectives? Personally, I don't think they can. If the people at the top of those organizations are not politically diverse, then they are just Democrats who really don't want Republicans to win. There are plenty of sources (like Soros), who can keep these garbage companies alive, regardless of ratings. Or maybe people like Soros are smart enough to see that they are throwing money into a fire.
As a part time consumer of crap news media, I do look forward to watching the transformation... that probably won't be enough to work.

I doubt it. Most journalist school graduates are left wing. It is what attracts them to the industry. Even the Denver Post business reporter is a left winger.
Expect to see more low level partisan unofficial journalists on YouTube, X, and other social media platforms. A lot of newspapers shut down in the last twenty years, expect to see this happen with news networks. Might even see one of the big 3 networks shutter a news division.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
It just goes to show that the leftist news sources are more interested in ratings than they are telling the truth. When Trump doesn't end democracy and doesn't become a dictator, they will probably pat themselves on the backs and say that they prevented him from being Hitler 2.0.

An interesting development from the collectivist State of California . . .
The Los Angeles Times could roll out an artificial intelligence-powered "bias meter" as soon as January, in the latest shakeup as the paper's owner tries to reshape the outlet.
LA Times owner Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong announced the upcoming AI feature on Wednesday in an interview with conservative commentator and newly appointed Times editorial board member Scott Jennings on "The Mike Gallagher Show," which Jennings was guest-hosting.
"Whether it be news or opinion — more likely the opinion or the voices — you have a bias meter so somebody could understand as they read it that the source of the article has some level of bias," Soon-Shiong, a billionaire tech entrepreneur and doctor who bought the Times in 2018, said Wednesday.
He added that readers could then "press a button and get both sides of that exact same story, based on that story, and then give comments."
I've a couple of questions . . . first off will the AI "Bias Meter" know when a story is skewed to the left given the training of most AI models occurred in the "woke" era?
Second, will the editors at the LA Times be running stories through the "bias meter" prior to posting in an effort to reduce the amount of "bias" their "reporters" have become used to including in every story?

Great questions, but I think we both know the answers. As a consumer of collectivist news/propaganda, I can say with confidence that the leftist news organizations haven’t really accepted their current situation yet. That being the lack of trust that’s growing, thanks to years of misinformation and disinformation about Trump. I don’t see them picking up many new consumers without pissing off their rabid Trump hating base.
Fortifying their credibility with some sort of AI bias meter will just piss off the TDS patients, especially if the right side of the story is more logical. For example, try putting up the pros and cons of an open border… how could you do that honestly without making Democrat policies look ridiculously stupid? They would pickup some new people for sure, but I think more of their loyal sheep would move on to the more radical left sites that are more likely to confirm their desired bias. Therefore, I think the LA Times will bias their AI to the left, just not too far so it doesn’t look intentional.
