n his speech to Congress on March 4th President Donald Trump painted a fantastical picture. The American Dream, he declared, was surging bigger and better than ever before. His tariffs would preserve jobs, make America richer still, and protect its very soul. Unfortunately, in the real world things look different. Investors, consumers and companies show the first signs of souring on the Trumpian vision. With his aggressive and erratic protectionism, Mr Trump is playing with fire. SUB REQUIRED

How many more years should the United States of America pay the high tariffs of other countries while we get screwed? How much is the combined debt or Canada, Mexico, and all the European countries? Is that number higher or lower than 36.5 TRILLION dollars?

Obama once said our lost manufacturing jobs were not coming back, because that's what he wanted. Weaning our country off of massive government spending is going to be difficult, but it is absolutely necessary if we want to save this country. Making our trade fair should have happened decades ago.

Stock market is tanking. Billionaires are literally losing billions. Aren't they supposed to be the guys Donald is helping out?

Will they bring him in line?

First of all, the stock market is not the economy. The market has been pumped up by massive government spending. The only way we have any chance of breaking out of our debt spiral is to clean house in the government, remove all unnecessary spending, balance trade deficits, and do everything we can to bring manufacturing back. Creating a massive energy revolution (efficient energy), should also help with all of that.
