Sucks! Another year of Bidenflation!

We won the election but lost the peace if this passes.

What's the alternative that will allow Trump to get his agenda going?

I haven't seen an alternative with reasonable spending cuts.

You didn't honestly expect to get an totally overhauled budget bill put together and passed in the Senate where Republicans only have 53 of the 60 votes needed during the first 60 days of the new administration, did you?

The process to identify the waste, fraud and abuse is well underway and once it has been identified for what it is, then, and only then, will it be possible to propose a budget bill that proposes reductions in spending equal to the waste, fraud and abuse, to the individual welfare programs currently in place and have a strong argument that the only services that are being cut are services to those who shouldn't have them to begin with.

Yes, this is reasoned thinking based on the facts. Trump’s agenda cannot be matched by any president that has served in our lifetime. The bill needs to pass before that agenda can move forward. Democrats and some lame Republicans don’t want him to succeed.. it not that hard to figure out.

Do you want a half or a no Loaf?

Some say this is just a continuation of the deal the Republicans and Pelosi wrote last time.

Continued massive increases in spending if it passes.

Sorry I don't trust any of them. Give me Massie and Rand Paul.

Refuse to support the Uniparty.

Sometimes progress takes some risk and sacrifice. If Trump doesn’t have the tools and the time to clean out our government (this is our only shot), what’s the point of a slightly better bill?

What would a good bill look like that would be acceptable to the Democrats? Would that bill include massive cuts to the untouchables like Medicare and SS? There’s no way they would go for those cuts, so where do the cuts from?

If Trump is successful in cutting significant fraud and waste, those costs will be removed from the books permanently (or until Democrats get back into power and restart their bullshit).

It’s all politics folks. Democrats couldn’t afford the bad press of a shutdown on top of last November’s defeats, so they chose 10 sacrificial lambs, probably all of whom had made public statements about it never being acceptable to shut down the government to stand on, or retirement looming, to pass the CR and allowed the rest of their caucus to protect the posterior of the party and vote no. Just like the Republicans did when power was split . . . not the bill we want, but it’s what we have, yada, yada, yada.
