Europe & Ukraine Vs. Russia

Some of these nations have given Ukraine more military and economic aid than they have their own military as a percent of GDP.

All they did was prolong the inevitable. If they really wanted to stop Russia, they would have put their troops on the ground and planes in the air. Biggest waste of money ever. Half measures never work.

It has bogged down Russia in a quagmire. Now Russia has lost Syria, Iran's economy is trashed. Hamas is a shadow of themselves.

True, it was expensive but it has changed Russia.

Imagine if Putin had finished off Ukraine in that first month? The world would be a much different place.

It would be like Russia invading Canada and the US just sending weapons and money… mostly money that is impossible to track. In that situation it would be in the US best interest to actually use our military to defend our closest ally.
I think if NATO countries were really worried about Putin marching across Europe, they would have been more proactive from the start.

But then again, the world has gotten used to the US doing all the heavy lifting… no more.

Maybe Trump should cut a deal with Poland, free Ukraine from Russian hands and no tariffs for Warsaw!

Poland probably would love to get revenge against Russia for 1920, 1939, and 1945. And Ukraine and Poland share long cultural ties.

These world leaders and Yelensky are coming to DC to meet with President Trump.
