why i voted all republican when it came to the legislature

so i am not enthralled with any major parties this time. choice was the lesser of all evils and the one that had more likelihood of providing smaller government, less spending, etc. so for the legislature it was the republican ticket. why? because a majority party gets to head all the committees and make the rules as to what can be introduced, discussed and passed as bills in the house and senate at the state and national level. never thought i would do that but have to go with those who have more potential to say no we don't have the money to do that than a bunch of spendthrifts.

had more fun voting at the county level as it wasn't the good ole boy republican network.

Same with me. The Dems have had the statehouse for a long time and could have better prepared us for a rainy day but they overspent.
