While that may be true of both of you, it would not square with the polls done in 2000 and the more recent polls of 2010 on the issue. A decade ago those favoring legalization nationwide was consistently in the lower 30% range. I believe that Colorado may have been slightly higher, mid 30's perhaps, but it certainly wasn't the 49% figure we are currently seeing.

I think one problem is that the question is more complicated than simple legal or not legal.
Do you mean:
1. Legal period. free--for all totally unregulated?
2. Legal like Alcohol with restrictions on growing, age and licenses, sale, tax etc.
3. Legal like RX drugs by doctors presc. only
4. Legal like tobacco, heavily taxed, outlaw the use of it in public.
5. Legal for home use only ?
6. Legal while driving, or at work or during lunch?

I really never got into it so don't have much of an opinion, though it seems relatively harmless from my observations. Cheers

19 to 3 is interesting. I thought it would have been closer.

With a poll like this, maybe we should organize like Breckenridge, Nederland and Denver. Legalize it on a local level. (I know, PSmith, maybe it's decriminalize or lowest priority to prosecute, but whatever, the majority knows what I'm talking about.)

I think de-criminalize would be the easiest to achieve.

IMO, SS109, I feel that we've come so far in this direction, why go back.
We need the tax revenue, he need to STOP THE WAR on POT, it’s my body I should do with it as I please, as long as I don’t hurt others.
I DO NOT want coke, speed, meth, downers, heroin legal.
Well, maybe coke, NO BAD! TPP!, BAD! :bash <Sorry drug of choice in a Galaxy Far, far, away, long, long ago… needed pot to come down from the coke>
Anyway, whoring should also be legal, and taxed. Regulated, Doctor visits required weekly, IMO this would also take care of part of the drug issue.
Get the street walker off the streets, and into whore houses. As far as, the moral end of the deal, that’s your & His problem. NOT MINE.
You cheat that’s your, hers & HIS business, NOBODY ELSES!
