Sarah Palin May Have Violated Wildlife Guidelines in Reality TV Show... And it's Only the First Episode

“Let's get the fish, before the bear gets the fish.” An unintentionally telling statement from Sarah Palin during a fishing segment on her new show Alaska––her over-simplistic greed for power and TV time and influence, analogized neatly in the fact that this woman would steal fish from a bear. But wildlife experts in her home state are saying that wasn't her worst infraction in the very first episode of the new reality series. According to Alaska Wildlife Alliance director John Toppenberg, Palin bucked a policy that requires people fishing in a boat to keep at least 30 feet away from bears. "It's clear from the video that she violated the guidelines," Toppenberg told the Guardian.

No doubt Palin will refudiate those ridiculous state guidelines.... I'm outraged, I tell you! Outraged!

Was the camera man that filmed from the angle that made it look that way.

This story is totally stupid and the writer of it is a moron. Must work for the Enquirer. I watched it and they were much further than that away. Then the bear got curious and swam out towards them. They moved away immediately. LJ really needs a life.

I bet they were 100 yards away and it was shot to make it look close. I enjoyed the show but really got tired of her paranoia about her neighbor. According to her, all we have to do to solve the border problem is put up a 14-foot wooden fence.

And then they build 15-foot ladders, and then....

Funny, a friend of mine was a guide in Alaska. EVERYONE tries to get the fish before the bears get them. That is called fishing!

Getting close to bears? The guidelines are to protect the people, not the bears. Doesn't look like they got that close, but according to my friend, bears get really close very frequently.

LJ, I figured you would be rooting for them to get closer, maybe the Bear will eat Palin!

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

I think Palin violated election rules too. Palin stole an election from a donkey.
