Oh absolutely, having Boehner as speaker of the house is quite the joke. His statement that the CBO is entitled to it's own opinion, but he knows more than they do, would be funny, if it weren't so scary. the man has already lost touch with reality.
You do realize the CBO is only allowed to work within the assumptions given to them. If they were told to figure out how much water it took to fill up a reservoir, and the only assumptions they were given was that water is actually kittens, they would have to figure out how many kittens it would take to do so. They aren't allowed to tell congress that they are wrong, and that water is what they actually need. The CBO is a pawn of congress. Nobody with any economic sense will tell you it will cost less to insure 30 million more people, unless those are the parameters they must work within.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
