Media are full of it

Where is it recorded that Oswald is officially recorded as Kennedy's murderer? Accused as his assassin, yes, but he denied doing it, the interrogations of him weren't recorded, and he never stood trial to be found guilty. It being stated in the media and accepted as dogma does not make it official.

John Wilkes Booth also never was convicted of murdering Lincoln, so again, officially, to say so is technically speculation, not fact. It's much easier to think of things in black and white, rather than go through all the details and caveats and leave it uncertain.

As this suspect is still alive, and yet to be formally charged, tried, and sentence passed, I'm sure once it is then it will be changed from suspect to murderer if found guilty (assuming they don't go with the insanity plea). Actually, with the sensationalist media, he'll be called that long before it's official, but mainstream media aren't exactly burdened with facts these days.
