Ed says in this piece, the President is "LASER FOCUS" on Arizona. Wow, like in LASER on your gun and focus in your sights?
Sgt Schultz goes on to say that the "President knows this is a political powder keg." Wow, Schultz is using metaphors or code words for liberal whack jobs?

What hate? And why do you think I look foolish? I put up a crosshair (reticle) as my avatar. Or is it a survey marker? We may never know.
If you walked up to the average person on the street, showed them my avatar and asked them "Is this a rifle scope crosshair or is it a surveyors map symbol," I'll bet they would say "Of course it's a crosshair." That is what the average person will recognize and see. Palin is backpedaling because she got caught and you know it.

BTW - the consensus of the people commenting on the link you provided say that what Palin posted is pretty much universally recognized as a crosshair for targeting a weapon.
