From Bob Beauprez' website and Blog - Reid's Power Play –

11 Jan 2011 10:26 #1 by Jonathan Hemlock
Once upon a time, Harry Reid and the Democrats enjoyed a filibuster proof 60 vote majority in the United States Senate. Then the "Scott heard around the world" – the amazing election of Scott Brown to fill the vacancy in Massachusetts created by the death of Ted Kennedy - reduced Reid's majority to 59.

Good post JH.

Pretty soon we will have a sub forum here in the Courthouse for the Tea Party Group.

From what I know of Bob Beauprez, he is really quite a great speaker and very passionate about the mission objectives and impact of the Tea Party movement over this last year and in the future.

So how does that outrage compare with the use "deem and pass" by the Republicans immediately after taking control of the House to bypass voting on legislation on the floor?

"Wednesday, Ryan's spending levels will be considered -- or "deemed" -- adopted by the full House as if they'd passed a budget with a floor vote. The legislative language in the rules package holds that Ryan's spending limits, "shall be considered as contained in a concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2011 and the submission thereof into the Congressional Record shall be considered as the completion of congressional action on a concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2011."

Did you get confused navigating this difficult site and end up here, or is this intentional baiting on your part?

I see no outrage on this thread yet.

Apparently you are telling us that you are one of the Socialist Progressive Libtards around here and before we even get a chance you are going to follow LJ's lead and attack without any proof of anything. Good Luck!!

Come out and join the Tea Party and let us know what your issues are. We would love to debate you in public instead of hiding behind an avatar and taking potshots at us.

If the Dems would have had the courage to pass a budget, before the election, we would't be where were at!

If the Reps didn't block EVERYTHING the Dems proposed, they would have.

Then don't kill your parents and cry that you're "an orphan."

Blaming the Dems for not passing something that your party is blocking is hypocritical b.s. at its finest.

LJ, Please review the facts. It isn't what the Bills are about, necessarily. Its more about all of the Liberal spending, the Pork and the payoffs and all of silly procurements hidden within the language of the Bills that are opposed by the "Party of Hell No".
