rofllol Governor declines MLK day event invite, tells critics: 'Kiss my butt'
Governor Paul LePage (R-Maine) is telling critics to "kiss my butt" over his decision not to attend the state NAACP's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations this weekend.
LePage, who adopted a son from Jamaica, declined invitations to attend a dinner in Portland on Sunday night and a breakfast in Orono on Monday because of prior commitments. "I'm not gonna' be held hostage by any special interest. And if they want, they can look at my family pictures. My son happens to be black. .. The fact of the matter is, there [are] only so many hours in the day, so many hours in the week and so much that you can do."
The NAACP's state director said the group felt it was being neglected by the new governor, a Republican elected in November with tea party support.
When asked by a reporter Friday to respond, LePage said: "Tell them to kiss my butt."
On no, is that the butt of his gun or the butt of his body....can't wait for the left spin...
It's about time somebody stand up to all of these special interest, leftist, socialist, race, homosexual, and union pimps. I may have to look up Maine for my next residence because Hick is going to sink Colorado.

Then changes his mind afterall...
While Monday's appearance was hastily added to his schedule, LePage had previously attended several Martin Luther King breakfasts in Waterville while serving as mayor before he was elected governor, a spokesman said. Monday's event was sponsored by the local Rotary club and a senior citizens' group.
In a statement issued later by his office, he said, "Dr. King is someone who spent and ultimately gave his life making sure that people got a fair shake regardless of race. We have come far through the years, but the journey continues to make Dr. King's dreams a reality. I urge all Mainers to work as one for a better life for all."
A NE politician without the MAOA gene. :VeryScared: We're all stunned. He must have had a flashback to before the amputation. Amputees have ghost sensations all the time. Then they snap out of it.
