Well, Ben Franklin was known for being quite the ladies man too.
But looking at MLK, who do you think was more important in the desegregation fight, Truman desegregating the military in the 40's or Eisenhower desegregating schools in the 50's, or MLK for a march and a speech in the 60's? Looks like a johnny-come-lately.
And Jackie Robinson might have been more inspirational for black youth and also for giving whites a black man to look up to.
