Thanks so much mtntrekker for your answer & explanation of my questions. I did take some time to review the above conflict of interest rules which you provided, & went to the websites. Thank you for providing them. Going to the site Office of Atty Regulation, I saw where it states that before putting anything in writing a phone call should be made first with a member there to see about proceeding further. Would you want those numbers? As far as the ethics commission, would there be a phone number to call where some advice could be given on filing one of these?

To file a complaint you may contact the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel by calling (303) 866-6400, or toll free 1-877-888-1370. so many people file complaints regarding issues the office can't consider but when it comes to ethics violations citing the code of professional responsibility it rarely is a problem. do not be deterred if you believe you have a valid claim. several choose to submit in writing and then have them call back.
