Terror Threat Highest Since Sept. 11 Attacks

Radicalized U.S. residents willing to carry out attacks with “little or no warning” have helped create one of the biggest terrorist threats in years, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said today.

“The terrorist threat to the homeland is in many ways at its most heightened state since 9/11,” she said in prepared testimony for a hearing of the House Homeland Security Committee in Washington.

Al-Qaida affiliates and allies increasingly are trying to recruit Westerners or those with ties to the U.S. and Europe, Napolitano said. The recruits include Pakistani immigrant Faisal Shahzad, who tried to set off a bomb in New York’s Times Square in May, she said.

What? Obama was suppose to save the world?

Obama's track record:

He spoke at Mile High Invesco Field: Broncos suck each year thereafter.
He spoke in Egypt: Government is toppled will be replaced probably by radical Islamic foes.

OMG. I am guessing this is a move to let them know we are still watching. To not let down our guard. And believe it or not I don't blame Obama for that I am glad they are still looking out.

I have to say, I did laugh at your other comments. Broncos have sucked since he was here. When I was watching his speach I was sick at the black drapes they put over our ring of fame! I can't believe Denver let him do that. :can't hear

It would appear that the Egyptian government is going to be replaced by moderates who won't tolerate the radical element and Al Qaeda is pretty upset because the call to violence isn't working, and the "Muslim Brotherhood" is not interested in the right-wing wackos. As usual RT is lying when he doesn't have anything else. Listening to too much GlennBeck-toons again, I should think.

As for the Broncos, I'll give you that... They HAVE sucked ever since then...

You just can't accept that Obama is just killing and ruining the world:

King Abdullah talked with Obama about the situation in Egypt over the phone yesterday. Obama and the King got into a heated debate about their opinions of what Hosni Mubarak should do. After the phone call sources stated that King Abdullah was furious and then suffered a sudden heart attack.

RABAT — Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah is in "excellent" health and anxious to return home from convalescing in Morocco following surgery, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said Thursday.

"He's in excellent health, he's undergoing therapy," the prince said in Morocco.

"The doctors are suggesting a certain amount of therapy and he's doing twice as much as they tell him. ...he is his usual self, assured of what he can do and ready and looking forward to going back to work and going back home."

Earlier the Saudi embassy in Morocco, where King Abdullah arrived on January 22 after surgery in the United States, strongly denied rumours that the octogenarian monarch had died.

"I can assure that the health of King Abdullah is excellent and gives no cause for any concern," a senior embassy official told AFP.
