I've not read the whole thread through, but one things strikes me on the first page. "Technical challenges" That alone tells me that the price of any oil discovered will not be cheap. Technical challenges talk about research to solve the technical challenges and potential failure associated with going into the unknown.
Furthermore, this is another "not in my back yard" philosophy. As likely pointed out already, no guarantees are in place that say we are to get x% of the oil eventually found and produced. Brazil is a developing country/ You bet they will take priority for oil consumption. This does not seem to be a well-thought out or advised track to take unless the US plans on annexing South America or Brazil in particular.
Rule of thumb: whatever Barry does no matter how absurd, check to see how it might benefit Soros. Take his recent trip to Brazil to pledge American money for them to drill for oil (when he won't allow anyone to drill here). Would Soros benefit? You bet: Soros owns the oil drilling in Brazil. Our money goes straight into Soros pocket.
