no... there is an active mountain lion in the area and local outdoor cats remains have been found. I hope the poor little dog did not meet the same demise. I hope he's lying on a mohair rug being fed steak on a stick

Same here Wily. I am just going to keep that adorable picture in my head of that little guy.
I pray he makes it home one day.

Just and FYI-

Was driving around hilldale pines near intersection of Rangeview and City View Drive and saw a medium weight jack russel with blue collar, brown ears, and I think a couple brown paws running around. He ran out of trees at one point right in front of my car. I knew he was there so had been going about 2 mph...

I got out and tried calling him/her to me to no avail. Looked like he was well Ed and had collar with tags, so I assume he belongs in the area. BUT, if not and you are missing a white J.R. Check this area.
