Please help us welcome our newest full-time veterinarian to Sano Hospital for Animals. Dr. Meghan Feeney is looking forward to meeting and working with our amazing clients and their precious fur-babies!
Dr. Feeney grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. During her veterinary school training, Dr. Feeney worked for three years with primates, as well as pursued her strong interest in the treatment of zoological species through many internships at the country’s top rated zoos, as well as international work, tracking elephants in Angola. After graduating, she completed a rotating internship at Coral Springs Animal Hospital in Florida, and was hired on as emergency veterinarian. Dr. Feeney also completed a second internship prior to her move to Colorado at the Wildlife Center of Virginia, treating and rehabilitating Virginia native wildlife including bald eagles, black bears, fox, hawks, eagles, and turtles. After moving to Colorado, Dr. Feeney transitioned to general practice and completed her CRI training to be a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner and is Fear Free Certified. She continues to have strong interest in neurology and rehabilitation medicine. Dr. Feeney enjoys spending time outside with her husband and her two dogs Boo and Lambeau. Go Packers!

We LOVE seeing your pets, but we'd rather NOT see them because they ingested any of these dangerous foods. Please SHARE. Be aware, and don't let anyone feed your kiddos table scraps.
Sano Hospital will be closed on Thursday in celebration of Thanksgiving. We will reopen on Friday to serve our clients, and be closed again on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that our winter hours are now in effect. We will open at 7a.m. and close at 6p.m.

Friends, please be advised that we are currently maintaining our normal hours of operation. Veterinary care is considered an allowed health care operation under Gov. Polis's statewide stay-at-home order. We are striving to do everything possible to ensure your pets' health while protecting you and our staff. Some of the current approaches being implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include, but are not limited to, the following:
- We have limited the number of staff who are in the building at once.
- We have spaced appointments further apart to reduce the number of clients who are visiting during any given time frame.
- Dr. Palmini is seeing appointments in a fenced-off area outside the clinic to maximize distancing and further minimize the number of people inside the building.
- Examination rooms have always been disinfected between appointments with a quaternary ammonium cleaner which kills coronavirus.
- All client contact surfaces are being routinely disinfected with bleach solution.
Please feel free to message us with questions or concerns. We are here for you, and we will get through this together.
