Open to anyone with an interests in learning more about Leave No Trave (LNT) skills and ethics. Taught by Roxborough Volunteer Naturalists who are certified to conduct Leave No Trace courses.. We will use a mix of activities to learn about the seven principles of LNT to help you recreate more responsibly and protect our fragile beautiful places, such as Roxborough.
Each participant will receive LNT informational materials, LNT tools, and a certificate of completion. Part of our session will include time on the trails so dress appropriately and bring water and a snack.
This workshop is free, however we are suggesting a donation of $10 to the Friends of Roxborough LNT Fund. Meet in the auditorium at the Roxborough State Park Visior Center. Reservation deadline is April 16th - click here to register.
Entrance fee is $7 per vehicle. No pets or bikes allowed in the park.
