:wreath: :fireplace: :taketreehom OK THEN, it's that time of year...TV specials telling tearful
tales of forgiveness,redemption and acceptance.

My all time fav was filmed in 1977 staring Ed Asner and Maureen Stapleton...Ed's character wants to
bring the fractured family together again...the catch, he's dying, but his estranged wife (who still loves
him)CAN NOT tell the grown children that coming home for Christmas would be a good and gracious thing... hard feelings all the way around, the decision must be heartfelt, rather than a duty....each sibling
struggles with the choice and THAT is the heart of the movie....GOOD writing. THE GATHERING.

Die Hard.
"Ho, ho ho, I have a machine gun too."

Kidding!

I have to watch the Grinch, Boris Karloff, not the Jim Carrey version.
And A Christmas Story and It's A Wonderful Life.

Last two? National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and the Charlie Brown Christmas.

You gotta quote that classic Christmas movie correctly!!

"Now I have a machine gun...ho...ho...ho" (said in a Hans Gruber voice)

We like watching Polar express, The 3 santa clause movies w/ Tim Allen, Prep & Landing, Charlie brown...many others I can't think of now....

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
