Located in the former Twigs space, the store — known as O.M.G. — opened in March just in time for the mountain biking season to begin. Co-owner Mike Weisberg hangs out in the shop with Luna the shop dog, who is a Native American shepherd.
Weisberg wore a “The mountains are calling” T-shirt one day last week, an unofficial motto for both him and the store. Weisberg and co-owner Luis Berroteran believe in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere in their shop, with the intent of getting everybody outside.
Evergreen Cryotherapy brings cold healing to the foothills
Cathy Barela has a remedy for pain and inflammation — cryotherapy.
Barela, of Pine, has opened Evergreen Cryotherapy in Canyon Commons on Evergreen Parkway, and she wants to use cryotherapy to help people feel better.
She looked into the therapy, sometimes called cold therapy, to help with her own rheumatoid arthritis. She began doing research and decided to bring cryotherapy to Evergreen.
