Art, Elevated: Conifer art teacher one step closer to dream of traveling art bus

If anyone is living proof that you should never give up on a dream, it’s Krista Hines.


For a decade, the Conifer art teacher dreamed of purchasing a yellow school bus and converting it into a traveling art studio. She began a nonprofit called School Bus Studio last November; now that she’s purchased a bus, she is one step closer to making it happen.

Aboard the bus, which is just beginning its transformation into a full blown studio, Hines hopes to share art with the world.
