“The Elk Creek Fire Protection District mission is to encourage and promote fire safety and fire prevention; to provide fire suppression and emergency medical services; and to make our mountain community a safe place to live, work and play.”

Elk Creek Fire is a mostly volunteer combination Fire Department protecting ~98 square miles and 15,000 residents.

Staffed with:
60+ MEMBERS WHO VOLUNTEER AS FIRE FIGHTERS/EMS PROVIDERS
8 CAREER FIRE FIGHTERS/EMS PROVIDERS
3 ADMINISTRATION/FLEET
12 + SUPPORT TEAM MEMBERS
