I have a simple rule that I use when I hear someone gossiping about people. A helpful acronym that you can use when wondering if you should spread a certain piece of information is T.H.I.N.K. Ask yourself the following questions? Are you spreading gossip and why? What will happen if the person you gossiped about confronts you? Is it worth losing a friendship over something that should remain private and you shared?
