Homeowners in fire-affected areas are heartened when they see a helicopter or airplane drop fire retardant near their home. A new product from GelTech Solutions claims to put the power of fire suppression in your hands.
There have been somewhat similar products for some time. I gave it brief consideration but decided that if a forest fire was that close, I would not care to have a standing house in the middle of the aftermath.
That product has been around for a while... price may have dropped some, can't recall the price before (under a different name but looks like basically the same stuff).
I was impressed when I looked at it before.
