Aw! I winked! I was just giving you trouble, I suffered with Qwest up there for quite a while... I'm glad you guys have some good alternatives!

Qwest was reliable and good for what it was, but the speed (or lack thereof) was killing us. We have few choices up here and none of them offer real bandwidth until now.

Help! I have Wildblue. Service was out this week to adjust dish and tuned up system.
He said nothing about all this??
What is Exced and why was I not upgraded?
I have 7,500 MB per month to down load. At half that number, my speed slowes to nothing.
How do I check the down load speed? If you can check speeds, why can't I?
Am thinking about changing to Hughs net.

There are plenty of places to check your speed. I have traditionally used
http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/
and select the DALLAS server

Better band width is wonderful but the big catch is the monthly limits on the data you can download. We download a ton of movies and we would easily go over their limits.

DSL might be slow but I have no data limit.

we don't download movies or play games on line so this is a good match for us
