We have a friend staying with us this week that is here for a national training course with Dishnet. He came back last night to tell us that by this fall, we will have speeds up to 12 MBPS via WildBlue.

They are launching a new satellite in July and the service should be available by September.

Pricing
1MBPS - $45
2MBPS - $54
3MBPS - $64
4MBPS - $74
8MBPS - $99
12 MBPS - $119

Great news. We'll have to check it out. How's the new hot tub?

we are waiting for the concrete pad to finish curing. The weather has been kinda on the cool side, so it taking longer than anticipated. Hopefully, this time next week!

p.s. I can see where you get your good looks, your mom is quite a cutie :-) (and dad's not too bad either!)

Seriously, I might just need to enlist your help to get Franz on board. I love the idea of sharing your day underneath the stars. Thank you for the compliment. My mom was such a wonderful woman and my dad had a wicked sense of humor. I miss them both.

I am told Qwest has laid fiber to Bailey on the right of way........Fiber to homes and businesses is not feasible until the trunks are laid with conversion boxes to interface with the computers/TVs. This is available in Denver in some areas. It is available in most all metro areas today.

IT will come if there is a market - up here it will take time.

that is just about the only negative I can think of for living up here... poor choices for internet services.
