You call it a whim, I call it ignorance, voters voting without knowing what they are voting for or against. There is no other explanation is there? It seems logical that no one would vote for candidates that were clueless on critical matters of government. And I'm not referring to philosophical differences of opinion. I could care less about liberal vs conservative differences. It is the melding of the best ideas from both sides that will make the biggest impact. So let's not go there unless you are ready for honest considerations.
