Well the day came and went. In my opinion it was a great success. We on the BOD for the event all had different ideas on the numbers of folks we would have. Veteransm, we had around 55. Now some may not think that is alot, but we you look at it from our side, Those 55 Veterans now have more information than they did before. We had Veterans from WWII all the way to OEF/OIF. We got them registered. They know they have other just like them they can talk to. Even had some families of Veterans that came. They got thier information also. We had a few Women Veterans that now know they are just as important.
So our thinking is that we do this again next year, but do it on the 3rd Sunday of the month, same timeframe. (that just happens to be the Conifer VFW breakfast also). So thoughts and ideas are welcome.
