Anyone know how to Colorwash? Painted Room-it's too dark!

:Help: I painted my walls in the bath and it just looks too dark. I was thinking of colorwashing the walls. Not my forte.

Anyone know how? Anyone willing to teach me?

The good news is - it's just paint, so it's easy to fix. Several options, most are pretty easy . What color is your base coat/current color? What kind of look do you want to end up with? I've done a lot of faux finising over the years with different effects - let me know what you want the outcome to be and I'll be glad to give you some ideas and instructions.
