I saw him in Battleground (field?) on Monday - Battle of the Bulge story. He was just a young soldier, not a big part. Van Johnson starred, had James Whitmore as the grizzled sargeant, Ricardo Montalban died from freezing, some actors had been soldiers in the battle, one guy died calling "Mama, mama..." Parts were very realistic.
