This is a very sweet thread. It would be hard for me to pick. It would probably be a quilt my Grandmother made for me. It's made from scraps from dresses she made for herself, my mother and me. I can look at all of the different pieces and remember the dress it represents as well as having seen her or my mother wearing it or wearing it myself for some special occasion. Most importantly, I feel so close to her when I run my fingers across material she handled with such love while she was still alive.
I have a similar quilt that was given to me by my mother who is 86. My grandmother made it and it is of exactly the same material as yours I am Woman.
I do treasure it a lot. So much history in it.
