The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be conducting rock scaling operations on U.S. 285 at the foot of Kenosha Pass on Friday, July 15.

Flagger will be stopping northbound and southbound traffic near the Roberts Tunnel – about six miles north of the Kenosha Pass summit – from 8 a.m. to noon. Delays up to 10 minutes should be expected.

CDOT engineers have discovered some loose rocks on the slope above the highway and need to stop traffic to maintain safety while removal operations are taking place.

Motorists are reminded to please Slow for the Cone Zone, stay alert and pay attention to and obey
