I was riding my bike on Foxton this morning and two planes, black, no markings that I could see, flew over and were barely off the tree tops. any ideas?
C-130s? If so enjoy the sights and sounds of freedom! It is routine for C-130 crews to train in valleys so they can learn to use the valleys as a terrain mask to stay off the radars in the area.
If you happen to see a C-130 with a couple of barrels pointing out of the port side of the aircraft and it's flying in a circle, someone is about to have a bad day (it's an AC-130 and they orbit their targets, current versions include a 25 mm GAU-12/U, 40 mm Bofors cannon and an M102 Howitzer).
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Ang, as we've discussed this exercise-thing before, I would take it as a personal sign not to ride the bike.
