Only time I smell a smell is from the stockyards way up north when the right direction is just right. I was glad to learn that this year as there were times I would feel like we must be living in an outdoor bathroom facility or something.
Bugling already!?!?! I've never heard one in person.
TPP says we have a mountain lion in the area, so all wildlife has basically vanished the last few days, all except our grey fox out hunting and catching voles and gophers! She was out last night prancing up the drive, stopping to make sure that we SAW that she was on duty. wonderful

Sure it wasn't a person practicing for hunting season?

They usually don't start till Late Sept.

Maybe Mother Nature has let the Elk in on a secret? Fall and the first snowfall will be early this year?! I have seen a few yellow leafs but I attribute that to all of the rain we have had lately.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
