Feels like fall

I know that they have had very hot days in town but I will have to say that July has felt like fall here for the most part.

I know all the rain has made things grow and if we dry out a ton in August lookout for the fires.

I have enjoyed the cool nights and all the wildflowers that we typically do not see.

Should get a contest going on when the first measurable snow will happen.

we were sitting out on the back deck for lunch today and it was 73 degrees and just perfect. When we were looking to move up here, it was during this time of year. We looked forward to driving up out of the Denver heat to the coolness of the foothills. simply wonderful, isn't it? the deer have so much to eat, they have left my flowers alone this year. ALL of my daylilies have seen their blooms come out in full glory this year.


This year has been a strange weather year for sure, no winter to speak of and then no spring, just summer. Personally, I would skip spring every year up here as it is mostly muddy and messy (not like spring in other regions) and just have Summer, Fall and Winter... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Wow SG not till Halloween, I am thinking September 15th but if we are going to make official we need to decide on a place to measure.

I really think we will get an early snow then a nice Indian Summer.

Wily, Fall has always been my favorite just love the crisp air and it smells so clean.

Last year at this time we didn't get out of the 60's. So this is hot.
