Which movies do you want to see this summer?

Time for movie updates!

I saw a preview for this while waiting to see The A-Team and it looked like it had potential - it was going to be either a huge flop or a surprise hit (although likely not a big one, not enough of us geeks out there): Scott Pilgrim vs The World. It's about a boy who, in order to date the girl of his dreams, must defeat her 7 Evil Exes. Campy and fun!

(watch Trailer 3 - it's the best)

One of the AICN guys got a sneak peek at ComicCon and posted this review:

No reviews on Salt out yet, from the fanboys anyway. Saw one on MSNBC that panned it. They don't fully appreciate Angelina Jolie doing fight scenes, IMO! lol

Filming for the next Star Trek is slated to being in January! Yahoo!

The new Tron:Legacy trailer is pretty sweet:

The next 300 movie is finally being written, called Xerxes

If you ever had a question for Sly Stallone, now's the time to ask:

EW ComicCon panel with JJ Abrams and the man I consider a movie and TV writing god, Joss Whedon (who's directing the upcoming Avengers movie)

And lastly, I finally saw Avatar on Blu-Ray at home a couple of weeks ago. I'm with you JRSK - the scenery was gorgeous, but the rest made me wonder how it made over $600M? Good, but not great, too rehashed. Not one that I'll re-watch over and over and over.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

SALT review.....just saw it today. For the most part,a FEMALE "Bourne".....fast and furious action, kick ass sequences
intrique counter-spy saga. Reality bended abit, but over all pretty entertaining for a pair of 6 dollar tickets. Ending sets up for a
sequel (of course) :Whistle
