This great blessing of moisture has been well overdue. Now that we have received such great fortune, we should admire and adore this capacity of rain and moisture. We no longer have high forest fire dangers and campfire bans.
I look forward to the growth of wild Rocky Mountain berries and nuts! The plants are flourishing once again. No more "dry lightning" and rain tease. This is what we have been asking and praying for!
Remember one thing... a washed out driveway is better than a burned home. Please admire this rain and accept it as a gift. Let it rain!

 Everyday I open my eyes is a great day and every day spent in Colorado only adds to that appreciation. There is much joy in seeing the rain and much to be learned from observing it. It's a visual for the home owner visualizing for them where drainage problems exist that would otherwise have gone unnoticed. Now you can do something about it. Of course there is the whole natural beauty thing to take away as life explodes around us in response to life giving water. It's appreciation for the little things in life that make life such a joy to live where we do.
But even so, lightning can still be a hazard and we need to stay vigilant as we enjoy and give thanks for this gift. Thank you for the lovely reminder.

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson
I like it, humidity in my house is a comfortable 50%, cool nights, and green green everywhere. Just can't ride the motorbike much, but its ok for now. And flowers all over!

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
Given my choice I'd vote for this weather pattern all summer long, minus the hail and lightning strikes. A buddy of mine had the roof beat off of his house in Lakewood yesterday due to golf ball sized hail over a half an hour.
I want to petition Ma'nature for days in the summer that start of in the mid 50's F and spike around 80 about 1500, then some nice cooling rain and wind from 1530 through 2000. I asked her for the same last summer and fall and got a few nice days but not as many as I wanted.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
