Bringing Back "BladeRunner"

Ridley Scott has developing plans to return "BladeRunner" to the big screen. The cult flick will NOT be a remake, but rather,a sequel OR
pre-quel......... Scott has yet to decide the form......So-o-o, my question is this.......which form would bring you back for "more" of
this special Scy-Fy flick? My choice would be a pre-quel,because the StarTrek series did such a splendid job of reviving the big screen
experience.

I think a prequel would be pretty cool.

I was re-watching the movie a couple years ago and it is fun to pick out where the future was guessed wrong, smoking! Much less smoking now than Scott envisioned.

Hmm - not sure either would do it justice - maybe if they tried to be more like the book?

Just watched that again this weekend, and for the first time realized that this future was set in 2019. Were were all so gullible in 1981 that we saw this as a possibilty that our world could be like that? The book isn't that much older, either, so I sometimes wonder.

Perhaps if we had privatized things like space travel and so forth.

But it is good to know that we haven't screwed up the planet that bad yet - we're still going to have open spaces and real animals in 7 years...
