I was trying to think of a way to actually get to our ideas of what services we expect/need from government without all the political mud slinging that usually goes on.
I am going to try this. My background is in process improvement, so I wanted to try one of my data gathering sessions virtually instead of in person.
Here’s how it works in person:
Room full of people, some quiet and shy, some loud and opinionated, and some in between.
I pass out post it notes with the instructions
NO TALKING
JUST ONE THOUGHT PER POST IT
This process allows for everyone’s ideas to be “heard”. Once I gather up all the post its, I compile them and come back with the results for next iteration. Once we gather up all the data, we can discuss what it all means. At least this way, ideas are heard FIRST.
