As we all mourn the loss of thousands of Americans lost on this day 10 years ago.....
I mourn the loss of my father.
He died on Sept 11, 2008 in a rehabilitation facility after he was evacuated to higher ground as hurricane Isaac bared down on the Texas coast.
My mother lost her best friend of 67 years and we lost the best Dad ever.
I miss you and love you Pop. Not a day doesn't go by that I don't smile at my fathers mischievous, playful antics.
You always made me laugh Dad. I love you always.
